The Story Of PI
It all started in early 2010.
A group of us came together and agreed that our society is getting more negative. With the purpose of tackling negativity, we started Positive Intentions Pte Ltd to provide positive developmental programmes aimed at helping our clients realise their fullest potentials, embrace diversities and live life positively.

PI aims to allow every individual to achieve their fullest potential to build a collaborative, world-class society.
To enrich and empower our participants through our signature PowerUp™ programmes driven by our core SPICE values.
Through the very basis of having Positive Intentions, one will make a positive difference to not only their own lives but the people and community as well.
We came up with the SPICE Values to help us spice up our lives in the event that we get ourselves stuck in a rut. Can you imagine going through a programme with a trainer or facilitator who is more negative than you?!
These 5 values serve as a brand pledge towards our clients. To ensure consistency in our service, all our agents (trainers, facilitators and volunteers) are assessed based on these values during their engagement with our participants.

VALUE-BASED APPROACH
Values define a person’s character, shape the beliefs, attitudes and actions of a person, which therefore form the core of the shield. Expanding on the core values, Social-Emotional-Learning (SEL) Model will be introduced along with the 21st Century Competencies Framework to better prepare our participants for the VUCA World, i.e. to be future-ready.
This shield gives you a glimpse of our programme design and the different positive outcomes we aim to achieve in fighting negativity! Learn-Unlearn-Relearn in the most fun, experiential way!
The Oosh!
Ethen Ong
Ethen Ong is the Managing Director and Chief Trainer of Positive Intentions Pte Ltd. With overwhelming passion, he moved on to pursue his dream of being a trainer upon completing his BSc (Hon) in Banking and Finance with the Singapore Institute of Management under London School of Economics (LSE). He has since trained more than thousands of participants, ranging from youths to adults.
He has a stronghold in conducting quality training in an energetic and fun-filled environment. It is evident that majority of his clients found his training impactful because of the way he delivered them, using innovative and unique approaches in connecting with the participants.
A staunch advocate for Volunteerism, Service Learning and a passionate volunteer himself, Ethen has been instrumental in the development of various youth development programmes. His ability to inspire and motivate has benefitted numerous organisations over the years. To this day, he continues to work closely with the youth, as well as the elderly and social sectors, where he passionately promotes student empowerment through service learning and community involvement.
